Hello and Welcome!

Jan 13th, 2019

Hello readers! I am starting this blog off with some info about my background in art.

As a child and teen, my main hobby was drawing. While other kids went out riding their bikes and playing games, I grabbed my drawing pad, pens, pencils, crayons, etc. and spent hours just drawing. My drawing preference was mostly people. As an adult, life, work, personal things, etc. all got in the way and I stopped drawing for several years. It's only within the past couple of years that I have picked it back up again, and I am so pleased that I have. It is probably one of the best things I've started doing again because I do love it so much and feel that it is what I was really meant to do.

Drawing people's faces is especially interesting to me, as it captures so much of a person's essence, personality, and uniqueness. I also enjoy drawing animals because as we all know, they have their own unique personalities too! Making art for people makes me more happy than ever, especially when I know I've brought joy into their life with the piece that I've done for them.

I hope you'll enjoy following me on my journey in art and drawing. Thanks for visiting.
